Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies

Serves: 2.5 dozen cookies
Ingredients
- Cookie
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2½ cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- Dip
- 8 oz SACO Chocolate Dolci Frutta
- ½ cup peanuts, chopped
Instructions
- Cookie
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Cream first five ingredients together.
- In a separate bowl sift together dry ingredients.
- Combine with creamed mixture.
- Roll into one inch balls and place on cookie sheet.
- Press a fork criss-cross on each cookie.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Dip
- Prepare Saco Dolci frutta according to package directions.
- Dip ½ of each cookie in Dolci frutta.
- Roll in chopped peanuts.
