Quick Mix Buttermilk Easy Chicken Pie

Serves: 6 servings
- 1½ cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 10 oz frozen asparagus or broccoli,
- ¾ cup green onions, sliced
- 6 oz swiss cheese, shredded
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1⅓ cups milk
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup Buttermilk Quick Mix*
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Grease one 10-inch round pie pan or one 9-inch square pan.
- Sprinkle chicken, asparagus or broccoli, onions and cheese in pan.
- Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake until golden brown and knife, inserted in center, comes out clean (30 to 35 minutes).
- Cool 5 minutes.
- Refrigerate any remaining pie.
- Variation: Substitute 1½ cups cubed, cooked turkey or ham for the chicken.
- Eliminate salt if using ham.
