Serves: 6, 6-inch waffles
- 1½ cups granola
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- In medium mixing bowl combine granola, water and SACO Buttermilk Blend; let stand 5 minutes. Add oil and eggs; mix well.
- In large mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients, then stir in granola mixture.
- Preheat waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
