Tuna Pot Pie

Ingredients
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 14.5 oz canned, mixed vegetables
  • 4 Tbsp SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp garlic salt with parsley
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 can white tuna
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Put pie crust in pie pan.
  3. In a small saucepan cook onion until done.
  4. In a separate pan combine vegetables, Saco Cultured Buttermilk Blend, water, cornstarch and seasonings.
  5. Simmer until it thickens.
  6. Add tuna.
  7. Place filling in pie crust and top with another crust.
  8. Seal edges.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
