Buttery Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake

Ingredients
  • Cake
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2½ Tbsp SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup sugar pinch salt
  • ⅔ cup water
  • Topping
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¾ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ½ cup butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Cake
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  3. Grease and flour 8 inch baking pan.
  4. Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth, then pour into pan.
  5. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the cake batter.
  6. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Remove cake from oven, pour melted butter over the top, and return cake to the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and cool.

  9. In a mixing bowl combine sugar, cinnamon and walnuts
