Buttermilk Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 5 Tbsp SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 egg
- 1¼ cups mashed banana
- 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Grease bottom only of one 9-inch loaf pan, or two 8-inch loaf pans.
- In large mixing bowl blend all ingredients until well-combined.
- DO NOT OVERBEAT.
- Pour into prepared pan(s).
- Bake 60 to 65 minutes for 9-inch pan, or 55 to 60 minutes for two 8½-inch pans, or until wooden toothpick tests done.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool completely on wire racks.
